Site work for a water / sewer project in Waynesboro, Mississippi. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Proposals are requested from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for sewer improvements in connection with the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality-Revolving Loan Fund Program. The engineering services required include: preparation of preliminary engineering reports and cost estimates for proposed applications, preparation of plans and specifications, distribution of bid documents, assistance in bid opening and preparation of bid tabulations, assistance in execution of construction contracts, conducting pre-construction conferences, performing construction inspection with periodic reports to the City, approving all payment requests, and assistance with reimbursement requests to the state. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Proposals for Engineering Services." Proposals will be evaluated based on Qualifications (40 points), Experience (40 points), and Capacity for Performance (20 points). Submissions must address the qualifications of staff assigned, relevant firm experience and previous projects, and the number and title of staff designated to provide services. The City of Waynesboro encourages Minority-owned Business Enterprises, Woman-owned Business Enterprises, and Section 3 eligible businesses to apply. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals.
