The City of Banning ("City") is seeking a qualified entity or individual ("Company") to provide the goods and/or services described herein. The City anticipates selecting one firm to perform the services. Bids are requested from Companies that have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in this Invitation for Bids ("IFB"). Background The City of Banning is strategically located astride Interstate 10 between the Inland Empire and the Coachella Valley in the San Gorgonio Pass. The City, incorporated in 1913, has a rich and colorful history. Initially Banning served as a stagecoach and railroad stop between the Arizona territories and Los Angeles. This history has contributed to the present-day spirit of pioneer resourcefulness and "can do" attitude that is so prevalent in the community. Banning is a friendly and wholesome place to work and raise a family. Desirable executive housing is available, as well as moderate and lower income housing. Clean air, ample water supplies and the memorable and inspiring scenic vistas of both Mt. San Gorgonio and Mt. Bid prices shall be firm for 90 days from date of bid opening to permit staff evaluation and City Council award. Upon award, prices quoted will be in effect for the term of the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities related thereto. . Provide materials, fasteners, and complete compatible HVAC units. 2. Remove and properly dispose of three (3) existing HVAC units. 3. Mounting location; inspect the mounting locations of all units. Determine if locations meet the manufacturers recommendations for installation. Demolish and replace or retrofit the mounting locations to facilitate the correct installation of the new HVAC units. Ensure surface is correct for proper operation of HVAC unit with a flat/level mounting surface, and provide adequate drainage away from the pads to ensure the proper operation and expected service life of the equipment is achieved. 4. Inspect serviceability of existing copper lines and control wiring between inside and outside HVAC components. Replace or clean as needed to ensure years of maintenance free service. 5. Relocate/replumb piping, verify/upgrade wiring as needed for correct connection, and verify control wiring serviceability for all new units
