Construct new section of Sun Lakes Blvd from Highland Home Rd to Sunset Ave, striping, drainage, street lights, adjust utilities, AC paving, curb & gutter Question Deadline 11/04/2025 at 4:00 PM PT The following plans and specifications are incorporated into this Contract herein by this reference: The proposed Sun Lakes Boulevard Extension project involves constructing a new section of Sun Lakes Boulevard from Highland Home Road to Sunset Avenue, along with intersection improvements. The Project spans approximately 5,400 linear feet (>1 mile) and is 86 feet wide from curb to curb. Sun Lakes Boulevard will have two eastbound and two westbound lanes, each with a 12-foot wide lane and a 14-foot wide lane; a raised 18-foot wide median; 8-foot-wide bike lanes; 8-foot-wide sidewalks; and associated road striping, drainage, and street light improvements. The Project crosses over three creeks: Highland Wash, Smith Creek, and Pershing Creek, with three sets of culverts to cross these creeks. The culverts are multi-cell reinforced concrete box (RCB) channels running under the roadway extension. The Project will also adjust and relocate various utilities to grade, including sewer manholes, storm drain manholes, telecommunication manholes, power poles, air vacuums, fire hydrants, electrical risers, and electrical vaults. The scope of work for this project includes various construction activities such as the installation of new asphalt concrete, Class II aggregate base, curb and gutter, median curb, ADA access ramps, sidewalks, driveways, drainage swale, chain link fence, box culverts, headwalls, wing walls, riprap, cutoff walls, concrete apron, drainage pipes, concrete collars, trash racks, nose pier, concrete swale, cable railing, retaining wall, gutters, signage and striping, and erosion control measures. 1) Civil Improvements - Riverside Construction Company, Inc - 19,252,719 2) Electric Improvements - Riverside Construction Company, Inc - 1,744,075
