Project No. 0053-0199- Rehabilitation of Bridge No. 00417 over CT River. The project includes steel strengthening to increase the load rating factors above 1.0 for all legal, permit, and emergency vehicles. To achieve this, top flange bracing and cover plate extensions are proposed in the approach spans and top and bottom flange bracing is proposed in the main span. The project will also include deck patching, new waterproofing membrane and overlay, drainage repairs, inspection catwalk removal, substructure concrete repairs, and full painting of the bridge. This contract is scheduled to be advertised on November 12, 2025, with a scope of "O". Scope of "O" $ 90,000,000 - $ 119,999,999 The CTDOT, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and terminate the process to retain consultant services, and is under no obligation to contract for the services specified herein. The CTDOT reserves the right to add other assignments of a similar nature to this selection process should the need arise prior to the interview phase.
