The Park District of La Grange is accepting sealed bids for the 2024 Referendum Projects - Phase 2 & 3 which includes the following bid packages: Asphalt, Concrete, Court Coatings, Demolition, Electrical, Excavation & Site Utilities, Fencing & Gates, Landscaping, and Playground Equipment. All proposals must be sealed and submitted by the due date and time. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the specified deadline. Bidder competency and responsibility will be considered. The successful bidder must procure and pay for a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond worth 100% of the bid. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders must follow all applicable laws including but not limited to the Illinois Human Rights Act and the regulations of the Illinois Human Rights Commission. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process. Specifications are available electronically upon request by email after the specified date and time. Pre-qualification requirements: Pre-qualification of all bidders is required prior to the bid due date by submitting one fully executed copy of AIA Document A305 "Contractor's Qualification Statement" prior to submitting a bid. Bid security, in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the Park District of La Grange in an amount not less than 10% of the Base Bid, must be submitted with the Bid.
