Renovation of an office development in Skokie, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade office development.
Sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Administration Building Roofing project. Lump sum bid proposals are to be submitted by the scheduled deadline, accompanied by a bid guarantee equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full contract amount. Bids need to be delivered in an opaque sealed envelope, clearly marked as SEALED BID. Each bidder must complete the qualification process and submit Qualification Documents as described in Section 004395 - General Requirements. These documents must be submitted with the sealed bid and will be available for public review. There will be a mandatory pre-bid walk-through for prime contractors, and attendance is required; non-attendance can be grounds for bid rejection. Subcontractors are encouraged but not required to attend the walk-through. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or waive irregularities or informalities in bidding. This contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Question Deadline 11/20/2025 Submit requests for interpretation of the documents in writing to the Architect. Inquiries received five or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of the Bids will be given consideration
