Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hebron, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Upgrading of three municipal gravel roads to paved surfaces meeting the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works "Blue Book" standard. The project also includes the design of active transportation infrastructure (sidewalks). The three municipal gravel roads--Lake Estate Court (Hebron, 205.7 m), Park Drive (Brooklyn, 894.9 m), and Seeland Avenue (Brooklyn, 203.4 m)--were originally constructed in 2009 and 2011 to "Blue Book" standards and are located within established residential areas of the Municipality. Each roadway currently has a compacted gravel surface with drainage, water, and wastewater infrastructure in place. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from engineering consultants has been awarded. Construction cost is estimated to be below $1 million. Projects will be republished once they are issued for construction.
