Estimated project cost is $2,750,000. East Central Special Utility District (Owner) is requesting lump sum sealed competitive proposals from qualified Contractors for construction of new East Central Special Utility District Office Building Additions, located at 12452 U.S. Hwy. 87 E., Adkins, Texas. A 5% bid bond and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds are required. Payments will be made monthly to the selected Contractor based on 95% of work completed. Award of the bid will be based on evaluation criteria outlined in the proposal documents and in accordance with applicable Texas codes. Contractors are encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the scope of work. Refer to Contract Documents for additional information and requirements. Contract Documents may be examined at the Architect's office and area plan rooms, and electronic sets may be obtained from DRG Architects, LLC. The Project consists of the construction of a two (2) - two story additions (Addition A: 2,094 s.f.; Addition B: 4,040 s.f.) to the existing office building for the East Central Special Utility District. The Work consists of, but is not limited to: erosion control, site clearing, excavation, fill, select fill and backfill;site utilities; concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, asphalt paving, rough and finish grading, and topsoil; concrete slab-on-grade, structural steel framing, steel joists and decking; exterior manufactured stone veneer; miscellaneous metals and metal fabrications; rough and finish carpentry, millwork and casework; dampproofing and waterproofing, caulking and sealants, thermal insulation, pre-finished metal wall panels, gutters, downspouts, flashing and sheet metal trim, TPO membrane roofing system; hollow metal doors and frames, plastic laminated wood doors, aluminum windows, glass and glazing, finish architectural hardware; gypsum drywall, acoustical ceilings, ceramic tile walls and base, carpeting, LVT flooring, vinyl base, painting and finishing; interior signage, metal louvers, miscellaneous specialties, metal canopies; machine room-less elevators; and mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and electrical systems.
