Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade transportation facility; and one-story above grade restaurant.
The project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary for the completion of the project, as specified. The scope of work involves the replacement of kitchen flooring at Aviators restaurant, located inside the terminal at Sacramento Executive Airport. The contractor will be responsible for demolition and removal of the old tile, diamond grinding the floors, saw cutting the concrete, removing the old floor sinks and drains, installing new floor sinks and drains, installing rebar dowels, pouring new concrete around floor sinks, installing new P-traps, reattaching plumbing, installing slip resistant vinyl flooring with heat welded seams, installing LVP flooring, and installing cove base. All work must be performed in strict conformance with the specifications and applicable regulations. Quantities of work and materials provided are for bid comparison purposes and may vary at the County's discretion. Question Submission Deadline November 17, 2025, 3:00pm , Question submitted Electronically ROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental work for: Demo and haul away of approximately 2,200 square feet of ceramic tile; diamond grind slab to level and smooth surface; remove and replace 10 floor sinks with new P-traps and adapters, replace four floor drains with P-traps and adapters, replace one 4" floor clean out, replace up to 60 feet of waste piping; concrete cutting to remove old floor sinks/drains, GPR scanning of concrete before cutting, repair concrete by inserting 3/8" rebar dowels into existing slab with Simpson set 3G Epoxy, install plywood and shore for concrete placement stability, pour back 10 floor sinks, 4 floor drains, and 1 floor cleanout; install approximately 2,062 square feet of slip resistant sheet vinyl (Altro strong hold 30 or equivalent); install approximately 137 square feet of LVP flooring. Vinyl flooring shall be heat welded at seams to prevent water from seeping into seams and getting underneath vinyl. Vinyl flooring shall be rolled up the wall 6 inches and finished with trim. LVP flooring shall have base installed around all walls to provide a finished look. All floor sinks shall be installed slightly below grade so water can be pushed off floor and into sinks/drains. Contractor shall provide all rental equipment and do final cleanup of all dust and debris at conclusion of project. Tenant will remove all appliances, racks, goods, etc. to provide clear access to floors. Tenant to completely vacate from 1-2-2026 to 1-23-2026. Job must be complete and move in ready by 1-23-2026. County DGS plumbers will remove and reinstall toilets in restrooms.
