Site work for a water / sewer project in Garden City, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work consists of furnishing all plant, tools, equipment, materials, supplies and manufactured articles, and providing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and communications needed to perform all operations required for the completion of the 40th & 41st Street Water Main Replacements project. Work generally includes the replacement of water mains and associated appurtenances along East 40th Street and East 41st Street. On East 40th Street, approximately 156 LF of new 12-inch water main and appurtenances will be installed, tying into the existing water main in W Chinden Boulevard. This includes installation and replacement of two new fire hydrants and about 850 LF of poly water service line. On East 41st Street, another 156 LF of new 12-inch water main and appurtenances will be installed, similarly tying into the existing main and including two new water services. Additional work, funded by a second source, includes installing approximately 1,503 LF of new 12-inch water main and appurtenances along East 40th Street (with five new fire hydrants and 27 new water services) and about 1,467 LF along East 41st Street (with six new fire hydrants and 22 new water services), tying into Adams Street. Required tasks include flushing, disinfection, bacteria and pressure testing for all sections, and surface repairs of concrete curb, sidewalk, asphalt, and sod landscaping. Bid items must be separated per funding source as shown in Bid Form, Section 5.2. Pay applications and, if applicable, change orders must be submitted separately for each funded section. Bidders must supply a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond for 5% of the total bid amount, guarantee their Total Bid Price for 120 calendar days, and possess a valid Public Works Contractor's Class A or higher license. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, waive irregularities, and make awards as best serves their interests.
