Nearly 1,000 septic tanks in permanent isolated dwellings are to be visited over a two-year period covering 2026 and 2027, as well as the optional years 2028 and 2029. At the end of the contract, each septic tank will have been emptied twice, with the exception of new installations built in 2024 and 2025, as well as those built in 2026 for sector 1-West. In order to minimize travel time and mileage for the CONTRACTOR, the MUNICIPALITY has divided the territory into two sectors, for which a roadmap will be provided to the CONTRACTOR before 1 May each year. The CONTRACTOR shall provide the labor, equipment and everything else necessary to proceed with the emptying, transport, treatment and disposal of septic tank sludge from all residences, cottages and municipal and commercial buildings not served by the sewer system. The sludge will be mainly residential in nature, sometimes including complementary residential use, but free of any industrial production waste. The contract also includes the provision of services for the emptying and transport of sludge for additional emptying. The contract will cover a period of two years, namely 2026 and 2027, with an optional two-year extension for 2028 and 2029.
