The Board of Education of the West Geauga Local School District intends to contract for Design/Build Engineering and Architectural services in connection with the construction of a new Water Treatment/Maintenance Building as described in the Design/Build Criteria Document for the West Geauga Local School District's Water Treatment & Maintenance Facility. The water treatment facility must contain all necessary equipment directed and approved by the EPA criteria. The building for both water treatment and the maintenance facility are described in the Criteria Document. Scope of Services: As properly authorized, provide all design professional and consultant services, including services in the following categories: Design Development, Construction Document Preparation, Permit Procurement, Construction, and Post-Construction / Closeout services. Anticipated dates for design startup/permitting: February 2026 / May 2026 Anticipated dates for construction startup/completion: On or before June 2026 / July 2027 The services will be conducted pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 153.65-73. All responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the West Geauga Local Schools will enter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm.
