The Board of Trustees of the Village of Greenport is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase of ten (10) single phase pad mounted transformers of 120v/240v voltages and various capacities. Bids must be filed in accordance with the specifications and Municipal Law Section 103. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the indicated project title. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularity, and accept the lowest responsible bid deemed in the best interest of the Village. The work is subject to New York State prevailing wage and contractor registration requirements. Bidders must comply with equal opportunity and non-discrimination employment requirements, and minority and women owned contractors are encouraged to bid. Each bid must include a noncollusion statement pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law. No bidder in arrears or in default with the Village will be considered responsible. The successful bidder must maintain Workers’ Compensation Insurance within statutory limits, Automobile Liability Insurance, and Property Damage and General Liability Insurance Policy with limits of $1,000,000 each occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, naming the Village as additional insured and provide copies of the insurance policies with the executed contracts.
