A new Pender County Health and Human Services Building is being constructed on the east side of Progress Drive opposite Industrial Drive in Burgaw, North Carolina. Access to the site will be from two new driveways along Progress Drive and connectivity to the existing Pender County Government Office campus on South Walker Street. Due to the development, a new traffic control signal is required at the intersection of South Walker Street and US-117 South. Pender County is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide traffic control signal Design-Build services. All designs and services must meet or exceed North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) specifications and all other applicable standards. The scope includes providing Traffic Control Signal Design-Build services to meet NCDOT standards, working with Pender County leadership, staff, engineers, inspectors, and contractors, engaging in value engineering as appropriate, and providing construction administration, project reports, presentations, and project close-out services as required. All work must be NCDOT approved and any applicable documentation must be provided. Only written questions will be considered and should be submitted via email to purchasing@pendercountync.gov.
