Site work for a civil project in Norco, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the contract documents, specifications, and plans for the Snipes Park Booster Station Upgrades and Lake Norconian Flow Control Station Replacement Project at two sites. The Snipes Park Booster Station upgrades include constructing a hydropneumatic tank with appurtenances, foundation, and associated piping; upgrading the pumps in the existing packaged booster station; control upgrades; and site improvements, including a retaining wall, tubular steel fencing, curb and gutter, resurfacing existing pavement, and placing new pavement. The Lake Norconian Flow Control Station work includes demolishing the existing below-grade manually operated hydraulic control valve and vault, and constructing a new above-grade flow control station with a solar power system, electronically operated hydraulic control valve, telemetry controls, piping, isolation valves, sun shade, site fencing, and associated site work. All work is to be completed within 190 working days from Notice to Proceed. Bidders must prepare bids for the entire work, ensuring bid prices include all costs necessary to complete the project in compliance with the bid and contract documents. All work not specifically listed in the bid schedule but necessary for completion per the documents and applicable standards is assumed included. Bids must be prepared using approved proposal forms, conforming to instructions to bidders, and submitted through the specified portal. Bidders must fully familiarize themselves with the project site and conditions before submission. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, possess appropriate business licenses, and have the required contractor's license at the time of bid and award. The City reserves the right to reject bids and to waive irregularities or informality in bids. Affirmative action and compliance with all relevant State labor laws and wage rates are required.
