The City of Leavenworth is seeking a qualified firm to clear, level, and install concrete disc golf tee pads at various topography locations within Havens Park. Fifteen tee pads will be a lump sum. There should be a 20% contingency add to the fifteen tee pads lump sum. Location of the fifteen tee pads are as follows: 1, 2, 3L, 4L, 5, 6, 8, 9L, 10, 13, 14L, 15s, 16L, 17, 18L. Provide an individual price for add alternate tee pads. Location are as follows: 7L, 11, 12, 3s, 4s, 7s, 9s, 14s, 16s, 18s. Please note that 12s and 15L are intentionally remove from this quote! See attached Map for all locations II. SCOPE AND DELIVERABLES Specifications o Dimensions: 6ft W x 14ft L o Base: A 4-inch plate compacted base of AB3 material is required for each pad. o Concrete Pads: o Minimum 4 inches thick. o Reinforced with #4 steel bars on 2-foot centers. o Concrete must use an approved Kansas City Metro Materials Board (KCMMB) mix design from an approved supplier. A list of approved suppliers can be found online o All concrete mix designs exposed to a freeze/thaw cycle must use granite or trap rock aggregate. o All pads must have tooled edges and a heavy broom finish. o Pads should be as level as possible while still allowing for water drainage. o Each pad must have one saw cut joint or a tool join across the middle at the 7-foot mark. o Each pad must be back filled along the edges to avoid erosion from happening along or under the pad. o Pad should be covered with concrete blankets if freezing condition shall occurs within 7 days of being poured.
