Hays Consolidated Independent School District (HCISD) requests proposals to establish one or more contracts for work that includes, but is not limited to, preventative maintenance and/or equipment repair, on call services to extend the life of the equipment, minimize breakdowns, and improve the overall efficiency of the equipment while reducing operation costs for all Hays CISD campuses and Child Nutrition Production Facility. Examples of repairs and services are not limited to, but include some of the following: Walk-in Coller/Freezers; Flooring; Ceilings; Vent hoods; Plumbing Work; Refrigeration Work; Custom Stainless-Steel fabrication; drywall repairs, welding, and installation of equipment. The intent is for services to be performed at Hays Consolidated Independent School District Child Nutrition Facility Located at 5750 Dacy Ln, Buda, TX 78610 and school campuses throughout Hays CISD. Pricing will be negotiated with each renewal as needed. Hays CISD reserves the right to accept or reject any items included by Vendor in this section. Awards will be given to the successful Vendor(s) based on overall best value to the District. Proposal can be made for any or all services and products described herein. Initial contract period shall be for one year from the date of award. HCISD may, at its option and with the approval of the contractor, extend the period of this agreement up to four (4) additional one-year periods. This extension would contain all terms and conditions and rates of the original contract, contingent upon availability of funds. The Contractor shall be notified in writing by the Buyer of HCISD's intention to extend the contract period at least thirty (30) days prior to expiration of the original contract period.
