Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Union Springs, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work consists of constructing a roof replacement for the Village of Union Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by bid security as prescribed in the instructions. The successful bidder will be required to furnish additional bonds as outlined in the bidding documents. All bidders and subcontractors must hold or obtain appropriate licenses as required by State statutes, and Federal and local laws and regulations. Bids will not be accepted from entities barred from public works or determined to be non-responsive by the New York State Office of General Services. The project falls under New York State Labor Law 220-I, requiring bidders to hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor throughout the duration of the work. Purchases are exempt from federal, state, and local sales tax, and bidders should not include sales or compensating use taxes in their bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids not conforming to the intent and purpose of the bidding documents.
