The successful bidder will begin construction within 10 calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion of the work will be achieved within 320 calendar days of the date indicated on the Notice to Proceed and final completion will be achieved within 30 calendar days after substantial completion. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % The successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 115% of the contract amount, and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, as well as evidence of all required insurance coverage within ten (10) calendar days of notice of award. The successful Contractor shall also furnish a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount covering defects of material and workmanship for two calendar years following the City's approval and acceptance of the construction.
