Reference Number 0000404166 Purchase Type One Time Only- Delivery Date: 180 Days Upon NTP The City of Pontiac is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced demolition contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the demolition and site clearance of the Ewalt Building, located at 1460 N Perry St., in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Through an innovative public-private partnership, the Council of Michigan Foundations (CMF) is working with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to equitably guide resources that expand access to public recreation opportunities through the Michigan Spark Grant. The Spark Grant will be used to fund this project. Question Deadline 11/18/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No Project Request and Background The City of Pontiac is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced demolition contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the demolition and site clearance of the Ewalt Building, located at 1460 N Perry St., in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Spark Grant will be used to fund this project. The Ewalt Building is an existing 2-story structure consisting of approximately square feet. The building has been deemed unsafe and is scheduled for full demolition, removal, and site restoration. The scope includes, but is not limited to: 1. Complete demolition of the structure(s) and foundations. 2. Proper removal and disposal of all debris. 3. Asbestos and hazardous material abatement (if applicable). 4. Utility disconnection and coordination with utility providers. 5. Site grading and backfill with clean fill material. 6. Final site restoration and seeding.
