As of January 15, 2026, this project has been awarded. All work for the 5-Year Capital Roadway Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the City. Bids are to be submitted for furnishing, delivering, and installing all materials, equipment, and services, including labor for the work, which generally involves full depth reclamation (FDR) and paving of city streets identified in the City of Dunnellon 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan and in the bid documents. For this project, all contractors licensed by the State of Florida are invited to bid. Bids must be prepared using the Project Specifications and Drawings. Addenda will be sent via email to all plan holders. No addenda will be issued after December 8, 2025. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the specified location and time. Bid security is not required. The successful contractor will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price, secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company authorized to do business in the State of Florida. The City reserves the right to waive formalities, waive any technical defects, reject any or all bids, and/or accept any bid which represents the lowest or best offer to the City. ONTRACT TIME: Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 60 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed for each Fiscal Year roadway project.
