Site work for a mixed-use development in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: Construction and establishment of new fast-pitch ball field located at 154 Rainbow Rd Salt Spring Island, BC. Work is scheduled to occur in spring 2026 (late may). The scope of work under this Invitation to Tender (ITT) includes the complete construction and commissioning of a fully functional fast-pitch ball field, in accordance with the design drawings and specifications provided in the appendices. The Contractor shall be responsible for the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, and services required to deliver a turn-key facility. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following major components: Infield Construction: Complete preparation and installation of a skinned infield, including grading, material placement, and compaction to achieve the required playing surface. Fencing Installation: Supply and installation of all perimeter and internal fencing as shown on the drawings. Concrete Dugouts: Construction of concrete dugouts in accordance with the detailed design specifications. Drainage Improvements: Installation of a French drain system and culvert grate to improve site drainage. The final location of the French drain may be adjusted at the Owner's discretion in coordination with the Contractor. The overall drainage length is expected to remain as designed; any additional drainage requirements will be addressed through a formal change order. Site Grading and Landscaping: Levelling, grading, and seeding of all designated grass areas to the specified elevations and tolerances. Material Supply and Waste Management: Provision, delivery, and on-site handling of all necessary materials, including the removal and disposal of all waste and surplus materials. Demolition and Site Preparation: Removal and disposal of existing ball field components and preparation of the site for new construction. Compliance with Design and Specifications: Execution of all works in accordance with the approved design drawings, technical details, and applicable codes and standards.
