Separate sealed proposals are requested for the York Central School District 2025 Capital Outlay, specifically for the General Trades Contract. Bidders must submit a copy of their valid NYS Department of Labor Certificate of Registration with their bid. Bids not accompanied by required bid security, certificate of registration, or other data required by the bidding documents, or that are incomplete or irregular, are subject to rejection. Bidders must submit a separate sealed envelope with a list of names and amounts to be paid to applicable HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical subcontractors, and the list may only be changed under specific circumstances. Bids must use the form provided, be prepared in duplicate, and placed in an envelope with the name and address of the bidder and the title of work. If submitting more than one contract, each bid must be in a separate envelope. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder must execute the contract and provide a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond within ten days. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept the bid which is in their best interest. Bidders must comply with required conditions of employment and minimum wage rates. Work must begin and be diligently prosecuted immediately after contracts are signed. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Remove portion of plaster ceiling, replace deteriorated piping and patch plaster ceiling in the high school auditorium and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents . RFI's are due by November 17 th , 2025
