NEW BRAUNFELS UTILITIES REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP 25-0088A Freiheit Control House and Breaker Additions New Braunfels Utilities ( " NBU " ) is soliciting Request for Proposals ( " RFP " ) for the Freiheit Control House Breaker Additions . The Project is anticipated to include some or all of the following items within its scope: (i) procuring a prefabricated control house; (ii) procuring and installing new relay panels; (iii) a new SCADA panel and communications panel; (iv) installing three feeder breakers and two tie breakers; (v) one vertical air break switch; (vi) installing a prefabricated cable trough and installation of three underground feeder exits; (vii) replacing buswork and switches in multiple distribution bays; and (viii) all other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project. NBU shall accept requests for additional information or clarification concerning this RFP on or before 4:00 PM CT, December 17, 2025. The selected Offeror will be also responsible for obtaining all applicable permits and inspections; providing all necessary performance and payment bonds and insurance requirements; and providing NBU with all manufacturers' warranties and all operations and maintenance (O & M) manuals for all equipment installed. The selected Offeror may be required to perform some or all of the following preconstruction and construction services. Preconstruction Services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, planning and value engineering the Work. Construction Services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, all work associated with construction, occupancy and warranty of the facilities
