Demolition, site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Project consists of The Work of Project, as defined by the Contract Documents and includes the following: 1. Demo and replace all cable and conduit with new cable routed in aluminum conduit. Refer to plan drawings for details. 2. Demo existing ramp control panel, junction box, panel, shore power, and lighting contactor from exterior wall of barge control room. 3. Demo existing ferry control panel, support, and feeder from barge. 4. Demo existing light fixture and associated switch from inside barge control room. 5. Demo existing rotary limit switch from driven shaft on the ramp motor. 6. Provide and install new ramp control panel, barge power panel, manual transfer switch, and lighting contactor inside the barge control room. Reconnect existing bridge power panel to new barge power panel. 7. Provide and install (2) new jar light fixtures on exterior of barge control room, new 2200k fog light on upriver and downriver lifting station, and new light fixture and associated switch inside barge control room. 8. Provide and install new local control panel on exterior of barge control room and new ferry control panel on upriver side of barge. 9. Provide and install new field fabricated equipment rack and new ferry shore and backfeed power disconnects/receptacles on downriver side of barge. 10. Provide and install new rotary limit switch to driven shaft on the ramp motor. 1. Licensed Electrical Contractor Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
