Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Fort Gratiot, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade educational facility.

As of December 17, 2025 Project has been awarded to Ingenious Culinary Supply for $78,225.00 Furnish all labor, material and equipment required for the design and furnishings as specified. Contractors must visit the site to become familiar with the project, as no change orders will be granted for lack of familiarity. Work must be scheduled around the school calendar and completed preferably before June 30th, 2026. All OSHA safety regulations must be observed and included in the quote, and all permits and certifications required are the responsibility of the contractor. Work must be bid using current prevailing wage rates in the State of Michigan, with proof of prevailing wage rates submitted when requesting payment. The contractor is responsible for compliance with all permits, local, state and federal codes for the materials, scheduling all inspections, as well as the storage, handling, and disposal of materials. Materials may be stored on site in an area designated by the Owner until project completion, after which the contractor must thoroughly clean all related areas and leave the premises in a neat, safe, and orderly condition. Should additional work outside the specifications be required, the contractor must bring this to the Owner's attention at the time of RFP. Provide a design package for new cafeteria tables, graphics, and paint, incorporating school colors, logo, and mascot, based on the enclosed layout, furniture list, and school logo. Am Tab tables are preferred, but alternates may be submitted. Pricing should include graphics decor design and paint plan for walls (graphics must be to scale when submitted) based on the provided Logo and Mascot Style Guide, graphics material and installation, and optionally paint services and supplies. If paint is not included, the Owner will be responsible for providing such services and supplies. A minimum warranty for materials and labor is required. Every contractor and subcontractor must post prevailing wage rates at the work site and maintain accurate records of wages and benefits paid, available for inspection. Five years' experience and references are preferred. The prime contractor must advise all subcontractors of prevailing wage requirements prior to commencement of work. Each proposal must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond, and the winning bidder must provide performance and labor/material payment bonds, with costs included in the bid. Provide a design package for new cafeteria tables, graphics and paint. Incorporate school colors, logo and mascot. Refer to attached layout, furniture list and school logo. AmTab tables are preferred. Alternates may be submitted. No change orders will be given for contractors not being familiar with the project and/or scope of work. Work must be scheduled around school calendar and completed preferably before June 30th, 2026 All OSHA safety regulations are to be followed and included in the quote. All permits and certifications are the sole responsibility of the contractor. Work must be bid using current prevailing wage rates in the State of Michigan. The contractor must provide proof of prevailing wage rates by submitting form WH-34-7 when requesting payment. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and compliance with all permits, local, state and federal codes for the materials, scheduling all inspections, storage, handling and disposal of materials. The contractor must include a 5% bid bond with bid submission and provide performance and labor bonds upon project award, the cost of which shall be included in the bid. Materials may be stored on site in an Owner designated area until completion of the project, at which time Contractor shall thoroughly clean all related areas and ensure the premises are left in a neat, safe and orderly condition. Any work not included within specs that is required/needed by the contractor must bring this to the attention of the owner at time of RFP.
