Questions regarding the RFP shall be received via e-mail, and submitted to both: Berit Watson Purchasing Officer Town of Westport 203-341-1047 bwatson@westportct.gov Erik Barbieri Director of Parks and Recreation 203-341-5088 ebarbieri@westportct.gov The Town of Westport, Connecticut (the "TOWN") is soliciting proposals for professional turf and grounds maintenance of the TOWN's municipal golf course and practice facility within the 168 acre Longshore Club Park and known as Longshore Golf Course ("LGC"). LGC is a public 18 hole championship regulation length golf course. The CONTRACTOR will report to the TOWN's Director of Parks and Recreation (the "DIRECTOR"), who will oversee the CONTRACTOR's work. The CONTRACTOR's personnel will work cooperatively with the Head Golf Pro, as is customary for a public golf course. The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for all necessary licenses and permits required by any agency in carrying out the CONTRACTOR's services. All financial records pertaining to the maintenance of the LGC by the CONTRACTOR are subject to audit, upon the request of the DIRECTOR by the TOWN's outside auditing firm, the TOWN Auditor, his/her designee, or other authorized representative of the TOWN. Further the TOWN reserves the right to obtain annual financial statements from the CONTRACTOR throughout the term of the contract.
