Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Westland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
The project is the Roosevelt-McGrath Adaptive Playground Upgrade for Wayne-Westland Community Schools. Bid proposals must be submitted on forms provided in the Project Manual. Each bid proposal must include a Bid Security Deposit in the form of a bid bond or certified check for no less than 5% of the Base Bid sum. A sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement, as well as a statement in compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must provide both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. The Owner may reject any or all bids and waive informalities or irregularities in the proposals or bidding process. The amount of the Bid Security Deposit will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into the contract and provide required bonds and insurance certificates within ten calendar days of contract award. Instructions specify that bids are to be submitted by the given deadline, are not to be withdrawn for 30 days after the due date, and must use the required forms and statements; otherwise, they will not be accepted. The cost of bonds must be included in the bid proposal.
