The City of Westland is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified vendors for professional digital sign repair services. All inquiries, questions, etc. concerning the RFP shall be forwarded to City Controller, Devin Adams, via email at dadams@cityofwestland.com and Innovation and Technology Director, Craig Brown, via email at cbrown@cityofwestland.com. All questions must be in writing and must be received by 4:00 P.M. on December 12, 2025. City of Westland is requesting proposals from qualified firms interested in repairing the digital sign to full functionality. Based on our review there are a number of modules, power hubs, data cables, light sensors, etc. that are missing and would need replacement. Technical Specifications The digital sign is a Daktronics GS6-40x150-15-2V-VIP5x5x-13-02-P display. The majority of the damage is on the east side of the sign. Visible parts missing: o 4 modules o 4 dc power hubs o At least 8 data cables o Light sensor The work would require a review of the sign to determine the necessary parts for quoting purposes. We do require a three-year warranty for parts and labor form completion of the work. I have attached a number of pictures of the sign for reference.
