Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; transportation facility; and transportation facility.

Existing Conditions The project site currently houses the Massports Logan Express Braintree bus terminal, along with associated parking and access roads. The service provides direct connections from Braintree and South Shore communities to Boston Logan International Airport. Proposed Development Massport proposes a comprehensive redevelopment featuring the following amenities Phase 1- East Parking Garage = 1,098,500 sf with 7 levels of precast concrete parking with a precast concrete roof (the precast future proofs for the possible use for EVTOL) Phase 2- West Parking Garage = 905,600 sf with 7 levels of precast concrete parking with a precast concrete roof (the precast future proofs for the possible use for EVTOL) Terminal Building = 26,000 sf not including core and bridges see below separate calculations Core = 16,800 sf @ 7 levels and connects the East and West Parking Garages and is outside of the terminal building (assume core is built during Phase 1 Bridges occur on 6 levels = 3,600 SF @ 600 SF per level. (assume built during Phase 2 & no bridge @ level 1=ground level) The Authority seeks to construct a complex garage in the general vicinity of the existing terminal site to increase parking capacity. Along with the reconfiguration of the site, it is anticipated that a new terminal facility will be built along with two future precast parking garages. Key elements of the project are to address parking demand and customer service interest, which includes the potential for the remote terminal to have capabilities for reserved vehicle parking and advance TSA check-in and screening prior to a customer's arrival at Logan Airport.
