Renovation of an educational facility in Port Byron, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Bids shall be submitted for all work related to the Kitchen Renovation Project at Riverdale High School for Riverdale CUSD #100. Contractors are required to survey the existing conditions prior to bidding. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on forms issued by the Architect and be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least 5% of the total amount of the base bid and all additive alternate bids. Bid Security may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, bank draft, or bid bond, payable to the Owner, ensuring that if awarded, the bidder will enter into a contract and provide the performance and payment bond as required. All bids must comply with prevailing wage rates for the locality and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and/or reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids without written consent of the Owner.
