The Corporation of the City of Burlington (the City or the Owner) is endeavoring upon an annual, Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) process for qualified and experienced Contractors for various civil reconstruction projects Tendered through the City's Engineering Services Department. Projects utilizing this RFPQ will involve some or all of the following scopes of work; installation of new watermain, storm sewer and sanitary sewer repairs or installation, concrete works (Curbs and sidewalks), asphalt resurfacing, traffic signal improvements, and streetlighting improvements. Contractors who previously prequalified under RFPQ-24-504 for 2025 projects, and have not been removed from the prequalified list, do NOT need to respond to this new RFPQ. Those Contractors will receive an email directly from the City outlining the requirements for renewal and inclusion on the 2026 projects list. Contractors who did NOT prequalify under RFPQ-24-504 for 2025 projects now have the opportunity to join the prequalified list for the 2026 Projects identified within this document by responding to this new RFPQ-25-503 process. It is anticipated that the subsequent Request for Tenders will be issued for each contract between January and June 2026. Once Pre-Qualified, the Respondent will remain Pre-Qualified for the period ending December 31, 2026.
