The project involves the replacement of the Kingsboro Hwy 64 Alternate Booster Pump Station for Edgecombe County. The work includes replacing the booster pump station building with associated piping, installing a permanent back-up generator, SCADA, three skid-mounted booster pumps, a chemical feed system, two 16 x 16 x 12-inch tapping sleeves with 12-inch valves, performing earthwork, and constructing a 12-foot gravel drive. Bidders must show evidence of being licensed to perform the specified work as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87. Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the bid must accompany each bid. The project is funded in part by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and the successful bidder must comply with ARPA requirements as per the supplementary conditions.
