Renovation of an educational facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for mechanical replacements at Eleanor McMain School, located at 5712 South Claiborne Ave, New Orleans, LA 70125, under project number ITB No. 25-FAC-0023. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond written by a surety company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bids will be accepted from contractors licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 in the classification of Building Construction. Bidder must comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S.38:2212 (A)(1)(a). No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days after receipt, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Instructions to bidders and all requirements contained therein are incorporated by reference into the advertisement for bids. Attendance at a pre-bid conference is not required but highly encouraged, and bidders are required to state on the bid form that they are familiar with the project site. Bids received after the designated date and time will not be opened and will be rejected.
