College Township will receive bids for the College Township SR 26 ARLE Traffic Signal Upgrades Project for the following intersections: East College Avenue (SR 0026) and Squirrel Drive, East College Avenue (SR 0026) and Elmwood Street (SR 3010)/Millbrook Way, East College Avenue (SR 0026) and Ramps E & F (SR 8028), and East College Avenue (SR 0026) and Ramps G & H (SR 8028). All bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis. Bidders must comply with all state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities. Pennsylvania prevailing minimum wage rates will apply. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. College Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and submit proof thereof with their bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of College Township, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.
