Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in State College, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,200-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project.
**As of February 12, 2026, the project was awarded to the following contactor: HRI, Inc. - $489,833.00 Sippel Development Co, Inc. - $3,284,800.00 , with an awarded amount of $3,774,633.00** The Project consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a 1,000 gpm Well Facility and a separate water booster station, including a 30-ft x 40-ft building, clearwell, pumps, internal piping, yard piping, chemical feed systems, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, plumbing, related appurtenances, paving, and site restoration located at the Oak Hall Regional Park in College Township, Centre County, PA. The extent of the work is described in the contract Documents, Drawings and Specifications. Bids must be submitted electronically via the PennBid Program. A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, bid security, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates must be paid, and that there shall be no discrimination based on race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. All steel products used or supplied must be made in the United States. The right is reserved to refuse and reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the Bid Due Date, unless specified exceptions apply. Question Deadline 12/16/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the Messages/Vendor Discussions feature in PennBid no later than seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
