Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in State College, Pennsylvania. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project includes the design, right-of-way, utility, and construction phases of improvements to construct a multi-use trail along Blue Course Drive from Circleville/Teaberry Lane to the terminus of Clinton Avenue at the McKee Street Bike Trail in Overlook Heights. The project is described as a high priority project in the Northland Area Mobility Study. Construction assumes grant funding such as TASA (Transportation Alternative Set Aside) or Multi-modal to advance the project. An RFP was issued in 2024 to begin a feasibility/preliminary engineering study. Staffing shortages have delayed the advancement of this preliminary design.
