Renovation of a swimming pool in State College, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,654-square-foot swimming pool.

This project includes the complete replastering of the competition pool, including surface preparation, structural patching, correction of low spots, and installation of a new plaster finish that meets professional, commercial-grade standards. The William L. Welch Community Swimming Pool ("Welch Pool") is situated on a property owned by the State College Area School District (SCASD). Under a long-term lease agreement, SCASD retains ownership of the land and recreational facilities, while CRPRA operates and maintains the recreational facilities and improvements located on the Pool Tract. CRPRA is responsible for capital repairs, construction, and facility upkeep. For purposes of this procurement and contract administration, CRPRA will serve as the Owner. This project includes the complete replastering of the competition pool, including surface preparation, structural patching, correction of low spots, and i o Surface inspection and assessment o Removal of deteriorated plaster and patches o Mechanical chipping, grinding, or hydro blasting as needed o Correction of low spots and surface defects o Crack repair and structural patching o Sealing of unused fixtures o Application of new plaster finish (contractor to propose product and manufacturer) o Final cleaning o Coordination with CRPR for fill and start-up instructions o Providing written maintenance requirements and warranty documents.
