A maximum of three hard copy sets of the Specifications and Drawings will be available upon deposit of twenty five dollars per set at Decatur Blue Print. Checks shall be made payable to the Decatur Housing Authority. This deposit will be refunded in full upon return of the Specifications and Drawings to Decatur Blue Print. Central Illinois Builder's non-cash security method for receipt of documents will be accepted on this project. No partial sets of documents will be available. Alternately, a digital-only set may be downloaded through this website for seventy-five dollars. Digital-only purchases are non-refundable. Bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting at the DHA Office. The work of this project includes renovation of 0-bedroom and 1-bedroom apartment units including: Replace kitchens and baths, flooring replacement and painting in the entire apartment, and misc. carpentry, including doors and frames. Work includes remove and replace drywall to access piping in chases, replacement of lighting and electrical devices, and replacement of all supply, waste and vent plumbing piping in chases including connections on 1st floor. Abatement of asbestos-containing elbows and fittings is required.
