Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Galax, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
The City of Galax is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for the City of Galax - Rex Theater Revitalization Phase 1 located at 113 East Grayson St. in Galax, VA 24333. The project is generally described as electrical and structural modifications to support audiovisual and lighting improvements to the Rex Theater (being handled under a separate contract). The successful contractor will be responsible for coordinating their work with the AV/ Lighting provider. The City of Galax reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. A Bid Bond is required. The contract shall be awarded on a lump sum basis as follows: the Total Base Bid Amount including any properly submitted and received bid modifications. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements.
