Site work and paving for a road / highway in Columbia, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required for the Valmeyer Road Slope Failure Repairs Project, City of Columbia, Monroe County. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the City of Columbia, which can be obtained from the City Clerk, and must be enclosed in an envelope marked "Valmeyer Road Slope Failure Repairs Project." All bidders must be prequalified by the Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois for the classification of work involved in this project. A proposal guarantee, in the form of a certified or bank cashier's check or a bid bond amounting to 5% of the total bid price, is required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the contract price, as well as a valid certificate of insurance naming the City of Columbia, Illinois as an additional insured per the amounts specified. The prevailing wage rates shall apply to this project as outlined in the specifications. The right is reserved to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
