This project involves the construction of a 2-lane roundabout at the intersection of NYS Route 825 and Perimeter Road in support of the Oneida County "Triangle Development" project at the Griffiss International Airport in Rome NY. The adjacent land development project is called the Triangle Development project because the portion of the land that is under consideration for development is essentially a triangular shaped parcel owned by the Oneida County Airport. The land development project will generate additional traffic at the NYS Route 825 and Perimeter Road intersection, and this project will mitigate the impacts of the additional traffic. Elements of this project include but are not limited to full depth pavement reconstruction, roundabout construction, new storm drainage installation, temporary on-site detour with temporary lighting and temporary traffic signal, precast concrete wall installation, new street lighting system, new sanitary force main installation using direct drilling techniques, new water main installation using direct drilling techniques, adjacent parking lot construction, new concrete sidewalks, asphalt hike and bike trail, new traffic signs, pavement markings and landscaping. This deposit shall consist of a bid bond or certified check payable to the COUNTY OF ONEIDA. Failure to submit a bid bond or certified check with bid will result in automatic disqualification of bid.
