Renovation of an educational facility in Spokane, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Renovations include an updated library, cafeteria, nutrition commons, locker rooms, and restructured offices to provide better access to a single, secure point of entry. The school is adjacent to Nevada Park, would receive improvements such as play equipment, sport fields, and court upgrades. The combined site provides an opportunity for SPS and Parks to coordinate improvement efforts for mutual use by the school and neighborhood communities, maximize efficiency. As of August 17, 2026, the project remains in the early conceptual and planning stages. The project has not yet been put out to bid, and no design or construction professionals have been selected. A construction timeline has not been formally established; however, current indications suggest that design work is unlikely to begin before the end of 2026, with construction not expected to commence until sometime in 2027.
