Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, not exceeding $20,000. All bidders and subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, and bids must include a Certificate of Registration as well as a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate for both the bidder and all subcontractors. Bidders must comply with the requirements of "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action statutes. Bidders and/or their subcontractors must be classified in General Construction or General Construction/Alterations & Additions by NJDPMC and NJSDA. Bids are to be submitted to the Cranford Board of Education. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid meets all material bid requirements. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process if it is in the Board's best interest. The last day for questions shall be Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Addendum shall be released to all registered Bidders on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
