All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor as to the Bidder and all subcontractors. All bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder must include with its bid its own Business Registration Certificate and that of all subcontractors. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. In order to be eligible to submit a Bid for a Project, the Bidder and/or its subcontractor(s) shall be classified by NJDPMC and NJSDA in at least one of the following disciplines: C008 GENERAL CONSTRUCTION; OR C009 GENERAL CONSTRUCTION / ALTERATIONS & ADDITIONS. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this project. This includes demolition and renovation of existing classroom spaces along with new STEAM and Culinary Labs, a Media Center, Art Room and Offices. Portions of the existing spaces contain asbestos and are to be abated by the owner's consultant. The general contractor is to coordinate their construction work with the owner's consultant.
