Weslaco ISD is currently accepting proposals for the above listed project. Removal, disposal and replacement of existing standing seam metal roof and insulation system down to the original structural metal deck. Contractor shall provide and install new thermal insulation, cover board, multi-ply thermoplastic hybrid roofing system and all associated accessories and sheet metal components, etc. for a complete warrantable installation as outlined in the project documents.The awarding of the proposal will take place at the Weslaco ISD public school board meeting. BID BOND - A bid bond or a cashier's check (copy only) must be included as an attachment with your Proposal response. Failure to attach a copy may result in the disqualification of your proposal. The bid bond or cashier's check must be in the amount of 5% of the total cost of this project. If presenting a cashier's check, it must be made payable to Weslaco Independent School District. The original Bid Bond or Cashier's Check must be mailed to us not later than three (3) days after the proposal due date. Event bid opening description: Our electronic bid system online will not accept submittals after the published date and time. The proposal opening will be streamed through the use of a Google Meet.
