Renovation of a theater / auditorium in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
The North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission (NVRC) wishes to replace the aging cedar shingle mansard roof around the perimeter elevations with a modern looking metal clad mansard roof that compliments the adjacent new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre (CRC) currently being built. Demolition and construction will need to be coordinated with the construction of new Harry Jerome CRC along the East and North Elevations and may require the successful proponent to focus on the South and West Elevations prior to working on the East and North Elevations. The Centennial Theatre has shows scheduled in 2026, typically in the evening, so measures will need to be taken to ensure theatre remains accessible to the public and staff.
