Renovation of an educational facility in Thomson, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

This contract is to supply labor, materials, equipment, permits, related repairs, and all other incidentals related to the following scope of work: convert two existing bedrooms to ADA toilet rooms; convert two existing toilet rooms with showers into storage and janitor storage; develop a storage room in the existing kitchen area; install new ADA parking; construct a new free-standing covered open pavilion (as an add alternate); and upgrade architectural finishes including flooring and wall base, lighting, painting, and door hardware. Instructions require sealed bids to be signed and submitted with the bid number and company information on the envelope. Bidders must include a 5% contingency for budgeting, complete their bid on the provided documents, supply three references, provide proof of insurance (including worker's compensation and public liability coverage), and indemnify the District. Compliance with all federal and state laws, licenses, permits, insurance, and OSHA requirements is mandatory. All bids must be prepared on the provided forms, signed, and may not be withdrawn for 90 days from the opening date. Only one bid per vendor is permitted. The contract may be awarded to the most responsive and responsible bidder deemed most advantageous by the Board of Education.
