Renovation of a transportation facility in Newark, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade transportation facility.

A. The Consultant will visit the site for a kick-off meeting with NJ TRANSIT Station Management, Construction Manager, existing Roof Warrantor and Project Architect to survey the area and determine the logistics of conducting all investigation and testing as well as the complete list of testing procedures. The General Contractor will incorporate the items discussed into a SiteSpecific Work Plan, and it will be submitted to Construction Manager and AMTRAK's Chief Engineer for approval. B. The Consultant shall submit a Forensic Water Testing Report to the Construction Manager at the conclusion of the investigation. The report shall include the following: 1. General Info - Name of person(s) on site during the investigation(s); Date and time of investigation(s); Weather conditions each day and day prior of the investigation(s). 2. General summary of findings. 3. For each building component, provide: a. Leak detection method(s) used b. Summary shown in an organized table of leak(s) detected, including: 1) Location of each leak with unique identifier keyed to plan 2) A description of each leak 3) Leaks rated in order of severity (a) Provide sufficient detail to determine such said severity (i.e. pinhole, shear crack, partial break, complete break, etc.) c. Building plans (11"x17" format) that indicate the origin and reach of each leak using the unique identifiers used in the table. d. Photos and/or video of the inspection conducted using unique identifier keyed to plan and table. All inquiries and requests for clarifications regarding the Contract Documents shall be submitted in the space provided for Questions and Answers (Q & A) in Bid Express no later than 3:00 p.m. on December 3, 2025.
