Description

Renovation of a transportation facility in Newark, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Mechanical Work Install (3) indoor wall-mounted units with refrigerant and drain piping. Install (1) 6-ton heat pump, anchored to exterior concrete wall using L-bracket steel frame. Core penetrations through concrete wall for piping, electrical, and drain lines; include wall waterproofing. Insulate refrigerant and condensate piping above ceiling. Test and charge system to verify operation. Electrical Work Install dedicated 208V, 3-phase power circuit. Provide NEMA 4X, 60A non-fused stainless steel disconnect at outdoor unit. Run power and control conduit/wiring to/from all units. Penetrate concrete wall and roof deck; patch and flash roof to maintain Carlisle roof warranty. Controls Integrate mini-split system into FAA Schneider Electric EcoStruxure DDC system via BACnet. Install IP-IO module at VAV-17 for backup cooling enable/disable. Submit point list, graphics, and control narrative for approval. Program unit setpoints and update AHU-3 supply air setpoints. Support commissioning for validation. Structural & Interior Concrete core penetrations for pipes/conduits. Provide support framing for units and steel plates per drawings. Support for pipes/conduits. Wall restoration and painting. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
